| Job Description: |
Responsibilities
- Leading the continual development and improvement of our web applications
- Supporting the existing development team with implementation of new features across our entire range of services
- Providing critical & timely support to delivery teams through updates, bug fixes and technical assistance
- Providing code review services to other members
- Understanding & supporting our existing & future services, applications & platforms
- Production of supporting materials; including technical documentation.
Who we think will be a great fit
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ of PHP development experience in an enterprise environment
- Experience developing PHP applications that have been deployed in enterprise environments (ideally 5,000+ users)
- Experience maintaining & debugging PHP applications
- Good knowledge of object orientated PHP and MVC frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, Cake PHP)
- Experience with MySQL
- RESTful Services & APIs
- Working knowledge of HTML, css (including SASS), jQuery, Bootstrap, AngularJS
- Consistent and logical approach to time management and prioritisation
- Excellent communication skills
- Driven and self-motivated approach to work
- Ability to work on multiple development projects concurrently.
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence/Trello/Slack
- Knowledge of version control systems (ideally Git or SVN)
It would also be beneficial to have experience in;
- Agile
- JavaScript Frameworks such as React/Redux
- Node.js
- Familiarity with Major CMS Platforms
- ECMAScript 6 (ES6) knowledge
