The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits of an inventory based company. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Supervising all accounting and financial matters of the business.


• Preparation of Profit & Loss, inventory and other accounts related reports as required by management


• Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs


• Oversee all purchasing and payroll activity for staff and participants


• Manage cash flow (receipts and payments) for timely discharge of payments


• Monitor banking activities of the organization


• Carrying out cost-control and other related activities.


• Prepare tax documents


• Compile and analyze financial statements


• Handle sales tax and income tax bookkeeping


• File sales tax and income tax returns monthly or annually as per requirement


• Manage budgeting and forecasting

Qualifications

• At least cleared CA Inter AND better if CA finalist


• Articles completed from a reputed Chartered Accounting firm


• At least 3 to 4 years of work experience


• Good Team management skills


• Previous experience of tax bookkeeping


• Well aware of income and Sales tax laws.

Skills

• Complete command over Peach Tree software and Quickbooks


• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
